I know...anyone reading this is just sick to death of all the crib talk here! But what can I say? I'm obsessed right now.

I HAVE decided that I want to do a Filipino theme. So depending on sex, it will be either a dark, orangey-pink painted room or a tea green. The other walls would be a light mocha color.

Little abaca butterflies should be arriving shortly.

Bedding - probably cream sheets with "colorful" accents that will fit with the overall scheme.

Romina Nerva - $1100 (+ $300 drop ship) - $1400!!!!

34.25w" x 63l" x 48"

PROS: Gorgeous, solid alder, made in Europe

CONS: PRICE!!!! Not sold/distributed in SoCal!

I love, love, love this crib but I fear DH would disown me if I so much as touched this crip!

It's a toss-up between the next two cribs:

Chanderic Cierra - $402.50 (sale from $460)

33w x 55.5l x 48.5h

PROS: Love the turned spindles, simple

CONS: Haven't found one in my town yet; matching dress is quite ugly

Bonavita Heritage - $489

33.5”w x 58.5”l x 47”h

PROS: Beautiful, very antique-looking, converts to toddler/day bed

CONS: Hard pressed to find a negataive.

$399 (sale from beyondbedding.com)

42" inside
44" outside
76" height

PROS - unique shape, turned swindles,

CONS - have to have custom bedding made all the time, accessories expensive, don't know where to see one in person.

As I look at the measurents, the diameter/width of the round crib is actually 44" as opposed to Nerva's 34.25", Cierra's 33" and Heritage's 33.5.

Doesn't look like a buy any room depth-wise with the round crib except that it's also only 44" across whereas the others range from 55"-63".

Hmmm...thinking to do!

Right now, the only one that I can actually see is the Heritage, I think.

The Cierra is not readily available here, the Nerva is not even in this state & not sure where to find the round.

The Heritage does look the most antiquey which would follow the idea I have of having an Old Spanish nursery with lace curtains (already in the room) and bedding made with some jusi fabric I already have.

We shall see!

Just letting you know... I bought the Chanderic Cierra crib for my daughter when she was born. She is now 1 yr. old, and last month, managed to jumo out! She fractured her leg. My husband and I freaked and I went online to get standard heights for cribs and we measured this against ours...turns out even when the mattress is at the lowest point, the bars are not high enough to protect a child from easily hoisting themselves up on a bumper pad and barreling over.
